In order to clarify population genetic diversity of the wheat powdery mildew pathogen in Xinjiang, simple repeat sequence intervals(ISSR) molecular markers were used to analyze population genetic diversity of the wheat powdery mildew pathogen isolates from 13 counties in five regions, including Kashgar, Aksu, Hotan, Changji, and Tacheng in 2020. The results showed that genetic distance of five populations of Kashgar, Aksu, Hotan, Changji, and Tacheng ranged from 0.031 7 to 0.094 5, among which genetic distance between Tacheng and Aksu populations was minimum, and that between Hotan and Kashgar was maximum. Genetic diversity index of overall population was 0.257 1, and that within population was 0.217 5. Genetic variation within population accounted for 84.60% of the total variations, indicating that the genetic variation mainly originated within the population. The value of gene flow (Nm) between populations was 2.749 0, indicating that there was a certain gene exchange among populations in different regions of Xinjiang. Normalized Mantel Statistic analysis showed that there was not a strong correlation of genetic distance and geographic distance between populations of the wheat powdery mildew pathogen. |
