Wheat yellow mosaic virus(WYMV) disease is one of the most important threats to winter wheat in China. In order to evaluate the resistance to WYMV of wheat cultivars and provide the reference values for the breeding,disease prevention and control,and reasonable layout of wheat variety cultivation in Shandong province,the resistance evaluation and yield-related traits analysis of wheat cultivars were studied in a disease nursery at Banquan town,Junan,Shandong province from 2012 to 2015. The results showed that 15 cultivars including Jimai 22,Yannong 29,Luyuan 231,Luyuan 304,Liangxing 99,Yannong 0428,Yannong 173,Yannong 999,Yangguang 10,Hongdi 09-5,Shannong 18,Shannong 29,Yannong 426,Yannong 836 and Jinan 17(18.75% of the 80 tested cultivars) were resistant to WYMV; 31 cultivars including Yannong 24,Luyuan 502,Jimai 21,Tainong 1041 and other cultivars(38.75% of tested materials) were moderately resistant; and other 34 cultivars(42.5% of tested materials) were susceptible to WYMV. The results of yield determination and loss rate analysis in 30 cultivars showed that wheat yield loss rate was closely related to the loss rates of spike number,grains per spike and 1 000-grain weight. |
