Using Jimai 22 as material, effects of different concentrations of organic amine Phenyltrimethylammonium bromide(PTMAC) on growth of wheat seedlings, chlorophyll content, soluble protein content, and endogenous hormone contents of leaves were investigated by the treatments of soaking seeds and foliage spraying. Results showed that:when the concentration of PTMAC were 10~50 mg·L-1, comparing with the contrast, the dry weight and tiller number of the seedlings, the contents of chlorophyll, soluble protein, IAA, ZR, and GAs, and the ratios of IAA/ABA, GAs/ABA, and ZR/ABA in wheat leaves were all increased, while ABA content, and IAA/ZR ratio decreased. When the concentration of PTMAC was increased to 100 mg·L-1, all the indexes mentioned above began to show the opposite trends. Therefore, low concentration of organic amine PTMAC could promote the growth of wheat seedlings, while high concentration of organic amine PTMAC was harmful to the growth of wheat seedlings. The suitable concentration of PTMAC was 20~50 mg·L-1. |
