To deeply comprehend the gene heredity rule of wheat disease resistance and improve wheat agronomic characters, we used far kinship wheat cultivars as parents to estabish the F2 and BC1F1 descendant population. With the tag csGS and WMS533 to detected the Lr68 and Sr2/Yr30 gene, respectively, the correlation analysis of agronomic traits was carried out. The result showed that: the resistance genes were widely distributed in offspring population. The transfer rate of resistant genes in the F2 population (65.41%,74.53%,48.91%) extended higher than that in the BC1F1 population(44.27%,55.11%,23.66%). Sr2/Yr30 gene delivered normally, Lr68 gene transferred lower than expected. Among the offspring population, Sr2/Yr30 gene took wider distribution. On the agronomic traits, the effective tillers, plant height, grain numbers per ear and thousand seed weight of offspring population were consistent with Xinong 979, and effective spikelet number was consistent with RL6077, the stem index was between the two parents. Overall, offspring population inherited the strong tillering, high earing rate, medium to large panicle and good properties such as yield stability of Xinong 979, and there was further room to improve the tillering number, earing rate, and spike grain number. This study narrowed the selection scope of wheat breeding in the early generation, as it also reduced workload. It has important reference meaning in the breeding of varieties which may carry resistance genes as well as high yield. |
