In order to provide theoretical basis for wheat high yield and drought cultivation during late growth stage, under rain shelter pot culture conditions, three winter wheat cultivars, Changwu 134, Changhan58 and Xinong9871, were choosed as materials to evaluate the effects of water deficit on photosynthetic characteristics and yield of wheat during grain filling stage. The results indicated that water stress after anthesis had significant effect on Fv/Fo and Fv/Fm of PSⅡ, net photosynthetic rate (Pn), the grain yield and water use efficiency. Under moderate water stress, the drought resistant wheat cultivar Changwu 134, had significant differences in Pn except at 24 days after anthesis, Fv/Fo and Fv/Fm had a rising tendency, WUE increased dramatically; Under severe stress conditions, Pn, Fv/Fo, Fv/Fm, yield, HI and WUE all decreased; For moisture sensitive wheat cultivar Xinong 987, Pn, Fv/Fo, Fv/Fm increased with water stress, yield decreased and HI were similar to that of drought resistant one, WUE had minor difference among all treatments. It could referred that under water deficit conditions, drought resistant wheat had less adverse effect than the moisture sensitive wheat, showing a high capacity of water use. |
